Voices of the North – Nordic Camp 2026

Join us for summer’s adventure!

Welcome to join Voices of the North – Unga Örnar’s International Camp! It will be an unforgettable week filled with new friendships, fun activities, and lots of laughter, camaraderie, and adventure.

During the week, we live together in tents, take part in exciting activities, and create memories for life. You’ll also have the chance to meet new friends from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Lithuania, and Palestine. We hope you want to join this year’s camp – see you at Voices of the North!

Important to know:
You must be a member of Unga Örnar to attend the camp and have a leader with you. As a member, you belong to a district, and each district is responsible for tents and leaders for its members. No, everyone is welcome to participate! It’s important to know that if you are 18+ years old, you are considered a leader and therefore have responsibility for younger participants.

One of your leaders is responsible for helping you with medication, and we can store your medication in refrigeration. No medication may be stored in the tents where there is a risk of it getting lost or another child accidentally getting hold of it. It is important that you state in your registration that you take medication.

You pay the registration fee in advance to your district. If your district is listed further down on this page, you will find information on where to pay the fee when you click on the registration link.

We serve breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, and a late-night sandwich at fixed times every day. There are different dishes for lunch and dinner each day. The leaders prepare the food, and we eat together on picnic blankets in the grass.

If you have allergies or dietary preferences, please state them in the registration form.

There is also a kiosk at the camp. Bring cash to shop there.

The last day to register is April 30, 2026.

We have a mix of activities suitable for both younger and older participants. We help each other organize activities, and teenagers often arrange activities for the younger children.

We do all activities outdoors, so it’s important to bring clothes for all weather. If it rains, we adapt the activities a bit – there are a couple of really large tents where we can do things together. If the weather is nice, we swim and do water activities, so swimwear is also important. There are also large green areas for football and rounders.

Different activities are organized every day. Examples include a disco in our big tent, ball tournaments, pentathlon, competitions between villages, a beach party with a color cannon, various types of games, an open mic night, and a late evening where teenagers organize a ghost walk for children and adults.

At 10 PM every night, everyone under 13 must be in their tents and the camp must be quiet, but teenagers are allowed to stay up a few more hours for teen activities.

Since we have guests from other countries, there will also be activities from different countries. Do you have a fun idea for an activity? Contact the camp group: annika.persson@ungaornar.se.

You travel to the camp with your district, which is responsible for coordinating transportation. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot accept members from districts that are unable to attend the camp. Contact your district for more information.

Everyone at the camp over 18 years old is considered a leader. This means we all help each other to make the camp a safe and fun week for everyone there. As an adult, you help where you can, and you sign up for various shifts to contribute to washing dishes, cleaning, cooking, and night watch.
