Our activities
Preventive efforts
Much of the most important work happens before problems arise. Through safe meeting places, dedicated leaders, and meaningful leisure activities, we create contexts where children can be themselves and be seen.
Our preventive work is about reducing loneliness, strengthening self-esteem, and building relationships – factors that research repeatedly shows are crucial for children’s mental and social health.
International
Children’s rights do not stop at national borders. Through international collaborations, we meet other organizations and young people around the world who share our conviction: that children have the right to security, influence, and hope for the future.
International work provides new perspectives, strengthens young people’s global awareness, and reminds us that solidarity is something that is practiced – not just something you talk about.
Our opinions
Unga Örnar is politically independent, but never neutral when children’s rights are threatened. We take a stand on issues that concern children’s conditions, leisure time, influence, and equality.
Our opinions are based on children’s own experiences and what we see every day in our activities. Giving children a voice also means carrying that voice into the social debate.
What we do
Unga Örnar is more than activities, camps, and meetings. We are a movement that works every day to ensure that children and young people can grow up safe, heard, and with the opportunity to influence their own lives and the society they are a part of.
Our work extends from the local association where children meet after school, to international collaborations and clear positions on issues related to children’s rights. Everything is connected. Everything starts with the children’s perspective.
Get involved!

Unga Örnar is built on commitment. As a volunteer, you can, among other things, start your own activity group (department) or support existing activities. You can be a leader at camps or help out by volunteering at other events.
Elected official
As an elected official in Unga Örnar, you are a role model for the children and young people we work with and an important force in the work for an equal childhood – all children have the right to have fun! You make it possible for us to create more activities and reach more people. Equal children have the most fun!
