Terms and conditions of purchase and delivery

These terms and conditions of purchase and delivery apply to membership fees and donations to Unga Örnars Riksförbund and Unga Örnars Vänner. The terms comply with current Swedish legislation, including the Distance Contracts Act, the Consumer Sales Act in applicable parts, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Organization

Unga Örnar is the children’s and youth organization of the labor movement. The activities are conducted on a non-profit basis. Information about the organization and membership can be found at www.ungaornar.se.

Membership in Unga Örnar

Membership in Unga Örnars Riksförbund is administered by local chapters. The membership fee may vary and is often free of charge.

You pay any membership fee by card, Swish, or Bankgiro 242-7284.

The membership is valid for the period specified at the time of payment. You can cancel your membership at any time by contacting medlem@ungaornar.se.

Membership fees already paid will not be refunded upon withdrawal. This follows the exception from the right of withdrawal for non-profit memberships under the Distance Contracts Act.

Membership in Unga Örnars Vänner

Membership in Unga Örnars Vänner costs 210 SEK per year.

You pay the membership fee by card, Swish, or Bankgiro 5876-5678.

The membership is valid for the period specified at the time of payment and is not automatically renewed unless otherwise stated. You can cancel your membership by contacting medlem@ungaornar.se.

Membership fees already paid will not be refunded upon withdrawal.

Donations

You choose the amount for donations to Unga Örnar. Donations are used for local activities and purposes in accordance with the organization’s statutes. Read more here: https://ungaornar.se/stod-oss/.

Donations are not covered by the right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act because they are given voluntarily without consideration.

Donations to Unga Örnars Riksförbund are made via the payment solution Stripe. Stripe is an established payment service provider used by many non-profit organizations and companies for secure card payments. Donations are made via digital forms. Unga Örnar uses Jotform as a form tool to collect and manage information securely.

Monthly giving

You can choose to become a monthly donor through recurring card payments via Stripe.

By registering, you agree that the selected amount will be automatically debited from your payment card each month.

The debit is made monthly until you cancel the monthly giving.

You can cancel your monthly giving at any time by contacting medlem@ungaornar.se or via the link for managing the subscription provided by Stripe. If you cannot find the link or would rather have help, please contact us and we will resolve it.

No refunds will be made for debits already made.

Stripe is an established payment service provider used by many non-profit organizations and companies for secure card payments.

Delivery

Membership and donations are considered delivered upon completion of payment.

Any digital membership or confirmation will be sent via e-mail.

Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act does not normally apply to

• Membership in non-profit associations

• Donations

• Services that have already begun and have been expressly approved

Personal data

Unga Örnar processes personal data in accordance with GDPR.

In connection with payment and registration, personal data may be processed by our payment service and form providers, in accordance with applicable data protection rules.

Changes to terms

Unga Örnar reserves the right to update these terms. The current version is always available on the organization’s website.

Personal data management

Consent to the collection of personal data

When you become a member of Unga Örnars Riksförbund or Unga Örnars Vänners Riksorganisation, as well as a donor to Unga Örnars Riksförbund, your personal data is registered and managed in accordance with current legislation.

Processing and purpose

When you become a member of Unga Örnars Riksförbund or Unga Örnars Vänners Riksorganisation, you consent to the respective organization registering the personal data needed to conduct its activities and safeguard your interests as a member.

The personal data is only used within the scope of the activities, e.g., sending information, notices, and statistics for grant applications.

Personal data processed by Unga Örnars Riksförbund and Unga Örnars Vänners Riksorganisation

The data registered includes name, address, telephone number, mobile number, e-mail address, personal identification number, date of birth, and gender. If you choose to terminate your membership, we will immediately delete your personal data, but we will save municipality, year of birth, and gender for statistics and financial reporting.

Who handles your personal data

Elected officials or volunteer persons and staff may be given responsibility to manage the data in Unga Örnars Riksförbund’s and Unga Örnars Vänners Riksorganisation’s membership register. All those who gain access to manage personal data within the respective organization sign a commitment of responsibility that certifies that they will comply with the Data Protection Regulation.

Your rights

As a member, you have the right to know what personal data we process, how it is processed, and to have your personal data corrected or deleted.

Social media

When you participate in social media, personal data is stored according to the terms of use that apply to the respective social medium. Unga Örnars Riksförbund is on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Unga Örnars Riksförbund does not store any personal data but can see the information that you have chosen to make available.
