Story 1

I am from Khan Yunis in Gaza. I was hit by the bombs of the occupation. I lost the ability to move and became paralyzed throughout my body.

There is hope that I will regain mobility after surgery. But the surgery is a bit challenging and not available here in Gaza. God willing, I can undergo the operation abroad and will be able to move again.

We were bombed during the night. I lay down and slept. Before the bombing, I was up late with my aunts and uncles. We sat together, I always go to them. We ate and combed our hair. It means we had evening cuddles and took care of each other.

We hoped to see tomorrow and get out. We wanted to go out for a walk the next day. The occupation cannot overcome us.

God will hold them accountable. There was none the next day.
